I am not affiliated with Jahadica web site. I do similar job to it though.

Forum members are more interested in visual presentations. So there is a lot of video links and pictures.

Also these forums become ‘the Jihadist magazines” for most of its readers.

A lot of copy and paste happens. Sometimes without mentioning where this article were originally published.

Let me put it this way. Online forums has more readership than static web sites and magazines.

Forum members do refer to individual articles, but not frequently. Essays written by members of al-Hesbah elicit much more discussion.

Open Source Center translates interesting articles from time to time, but I don’t think they do whole volumes.

If you have time, I have a follow up: Do the forum members ever discuss the online Jihadist magazines such as Sada al-Jihad? Are these lame duck publications or do the forum members read and take these articles to heart? Particlulary, do the pessimistic forum members ever refer to these pubs as sources of inspiration?

Also, is there anyone translating these pubs into English?
